Today, September 6th, is National Coffee Ice Cream Day.
Ice cream is an ever-popular frozen dessert, especially in warm weather. It is usually made from dairy products, namely milk and cream, which are combined with other ingredients and flavours.
The definition of ice cream can vary from country to country, with what is called ice cream in one place differing from that in another. Whilst most ice creams contain sugar, other sweeteners can be substituted. The dairy products can also be replaced with alternatives for those with problems such as lactose intolerance and allergies to dairy, or vegans.
Coffee ice cream is, naturally, ice cream where the flavouring added is coffee. I admit, I can't stand the stuff.
