Today, November 20th, is National Peanut Butter Fudge.
Fudge is, at its most basic, made from sugar, milk and butter. It is usually a soft and sweet confection, with the sugar in it heated to what is called the soft-ball stage at 116 °C.
Fudge is quite a versatile confection, which can be have a wide range of flavours, fruit and nuts added to it.
Peanut butter fudge naturally is that with peanut butter, a food paste which is made from dry roasted peanuts.
