Casey Kopua is hopeful of returning to the netball court before next year’s World Cup.

The Silver Ferns captain is starting to walk around a running track and do some one-legged cycling, a month after rupturing the patella tendon in her left knee.

Kopua says she wants to make her return for the Magic in the ANZ Championship.

She says it’s a small possibility, but it’d be a bonus to play for the Magic ahead of the World Cup in August.

Casey Kopua says even if she didn’t have the World Cup to aim for she’d be returning to netball, as she wants to end her career on her terms.
