Hi everyone! We are very excited and pleased to inform you that every user now gets a photo gallery that they can add pictures to. Whether you are filmmaker with stills to upload from your latest shoot, or a film enthusiast eager to document your latest film festival adventure, our photo gallery is there to increase your Film Annex experience. In addition to videos and blogs, you can now share snapshots with your friends and followers instantly. What's more you can import your photos directly from your Facebook account or upload manually. Don't forget: The more photos you upload, the more exposure you/your work gets, the more traffic and revenues you receive. Pages with pictures are estimated to increase revenues by at least 50%. To upload your photos, go to your Film Annex profile and click on the plus (+) icon to add a picture. You can also choose "my photo albums" from your dropdown menu and click on "create a new album." If you have any questions about our photo galleries, shoot us an email at info@filmannex.com. And now... this week's featured gems. OK. Loneliness sucks. No one wants to be lonely. Yet, some of the greatest artwork takes loneliness as its subject. Some of our favorite films (take Taxi Driver) or our favorite songs (I'm So Lonely by Beach Boys?) are about loneliness and how it can make us do crazy things. In a way, loneliness is inspiring and it creates wonders. Arnoldas Vitkus, yet another insanely young and talented filmmaker we have on our platform, created an incredible animated short about a robot who tackles with this feeling we all hate. In 3 minutes, we are taken into an artificial and empty world that is perhaps not so artificial and empty in the end. The decision is up to you. Take a look at this great film, Tabula Rasa. Our featured filmmaker this week is not a filmmaker, but an organization that supports thousands of filmmakers. Cineuropa makes European cinema accessible to everyone. Their festival brings student projects alive by giving them an audience. Their interviews with cast and crews open the door to those who are curious about how a film is made. Of the dozens of videos they have on our platform, get started with Sunflower, or hear what Danny Boyle has to say about filmmaking. Man of action, Man of Steel, Man of... shy journalist by day, superhero by night? All he needs is his red cape. Our Superman Web TV brings you the full 17-episode movie cartoon series from the golden age of animation. Go back to the 1940's and discover how the legend began! Tune in next week for more news and make sure you follow us on follow us on Facebook, Twitter, and Digg. Yours truly, The Film Annex Team
