1.45pm New Zealand flexed their collective muscles to display their strength with a dominant win against favourites Australia and blew almost everyone else out of their way. West Indies, though, were not too far away, losing a thriller against England and winning the rest of the games. New Zealand enter this one as slight favourites but this format evens up slightly skewed contests, so this could get interesting.
Difficult ground to defend, and so I'd suspect a win toss, bowl first scenario. Toss ain't too far away. Thepreview in the meantime?
1.25pm Just one spot left to decide who will tussle for the crown. Australia clinically romped to the finals with a convincing win against England, and they await the winner of today's semi-final between New Zealand and West Indies. NZ enter this game as the team to beat having cruised through the group stages unscathed (much like the men) but West Indies are no pushovers. They troubled England and beat a quality India side at home, so a lot to prove for them.
Mumbai is buzzing with home favourites India playing the men's semi-final against West Indies later on, and so we could see quite an impressive crowd for this one as the game progresses.
