Next Khaleda graft cases hearing 3 Aug

A Dhaka court fixed 3 August for the next hearing on the Zia Orphanage Trust and Zia Charitable Trust graft cases against BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia.
Judge Abu Ahmed Zamader of Special Judge’s Court-3 on Thursday fixed the date.  
Khandaker Mahbub Hossain quizzed deputy director of Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC), also the plaintiff of Zia Charitable Trust graft case, Harunur Rashid, for the defendant.    
The BNP chairperson left her Gulshan residence at about 9:40am to attend the graft hearing, said the BNP chief’s press wing official Shairul Kabir.
Khaleda reached the court around 10:15am.
Earlier on 18 June, the Special Judge’s Court-3, set up on the playground of Govt Alia Madrasah in the capital’s Bakshibazar, was adjourned till 23 July for the hearing on the two graft cases against Khaleda in her presence.
