NIA officer of India shot dead in Uttar Pradesh.

National Investigation Agency (NIA) of India’s officer Mohammad Tanzil Ahmed was shot dead yesterday by unidentified assailants in Uttar Pradesh's Bijnor when the officer along with his family was returning from a wedding ceremony in Bijnor in their car late night. The officer was reportedly shot 21 times while his wife sustained four bullets. The children were, however, unhurt. Tanzil was pronounced dead when brought to a hospital in Moradabad and his wife Farzana is currently admitted in All India Institute of Medical Science in New Delhi in a critical condition. Investigations into the killing are on and the possibility of terror angle behind the attack cannot be ruled out.
