Endless Birches
I was in Colorado for weeks and the landscapes were tremendous. The trees during this time of year are magical and I found myself continually drawn to the dense woods.
When you’re shooting panoramic, composition becomes much more difficult, especially in the forest. But I found it, the perfect spot. The faint sunlight filtering through the background provided a warm glow and the sky gave a surreal blue tint to the trees. I felt I could see forever there.
Twelve rolls of film went through my camera as I played with different lighting, composition and exposure. In the end, I believe this shot really caught the feeling of the afternoon and I am incredibly happy to have captured the ever–elusive perfect birch tree shot.
