Former Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh who was earlier summoned to personally appear in a Delhi court on April 8 in the famous or infamous "Coalgate" case had appealed to the Supreme Court for exemption from personal appearance in the court. The top court of the country has suspended the summons sent to him and so the aged politician no longer needs appear in the said Delhi court on April 8,2015.
