You know of the phrase "no rest for the wicked" ? The phrase should be "no rest for the writer."

You can't deny that writers lack dedication. Many of us are going to work ourselves to the bones until our knuckles are raw. We're going to work ourselves to the bone until our brain is numb.

There is that voice in the back of our head that states that maybe we should take one day off. It won't hurt us. It's an addiction though. I feel wrong if I didn't write at least something. It could be one short little thing but if I didn't write, my day would not feel complete.

Just party on and write on, that's going to be my motto I think. It's an addiction but one that causes us to think.
