This is the review of Nokia XL. In this review, I will discuss the specifications of Nokia XL smartphone powered by Android. Nokia XL was released in May, 2014.  Along with Lumia series powered by Windows phone operating system, and Asha series and other basic feature phones, this is the new step from Nokia towards the most famous Operating System. Nokia released just three Android phones till now, getting the series name "X", packing a good hardware and pretty basic software based on Android, which users find quite different from the Stock Android.

 

 

 

 

 

The Nokia XL is a dual sim smartphone with dual standby. The build quality of this phone is pretty much similar to the Lumia series smartphones as Nokia pays much attention to the quality, durability as well as Colors of its products.

Nokia XL has a 5inch IPS LCD screen ( which is not HD) with the resolution of 480 x 800 , not too good but still okay for a basic smartphone. The pixel density is 187ppi. The view angles are also not comparable to the HD display phones in the market.

It is 10.9 mm thick and weighs 190 grams. In terms of Hardware, Nokia XL is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 dual core 1GHZ processor, that is really out dated but still it does the job for Nokia XL to meet its basic features rather than hardcore gaming and extensive use. The Gpu is Adreno 203. It has only 786mb of ram. The internal Memory is 4gb which is extended upto 32GB, Thanks to the micro SD card slot.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The camera of Nokia XL is 5 megapixels auto focus camera with LED flash, but it is not capable to record HD videos, it can shoot just 480p videos at 30 frames per second. The front facing camera is 2 megapixels, which is good for video calling. This smartphone has FM Radio, WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth, Accelerometer and Proximity Sensor, and it is available in different colors.
