The next Non-Fiction is very close to me as I feel technology is destroying society. This non-fiction it on the verge of being a drama, but the way I want to do this film, it will be more of a Non-Fiction.
There will be an old lady sitting crippled behind a stall full of old items and toys. Phones, Cameras with tape, board games, old teddys and many more. The old lady isn't selling anything though, there free, but only if you sit and listen to the story behind these old items.
I will be getting several members of the public to pick an item and then listen to the story behind that item. The old lady will tell them how she's had fun with that board game, or how you had to wait days to get your photos developed. She will also be relating what she says back to technology in todays society, for example how phones have changed. It will be a special romantic moment, as the old lady tells a moving story of her memories. It will also have an olden day feel to it, and will be black and white.
The next day the stall will be stood empty, with the new technology rushing pass as the rush on people walk past the empty stall. This shot will now be in colour to represent the change in society and technology. It also will represent how the old lades memories have died with her and will be forgotten.
This is a very rough idea, and It needs a lot of work and it is only a concept, but I really like the idea of having an old lady talking about the technology she used to have and how it has changed and ruined society today.
Here is a photo of the 2005 and 2013 Pope election. Just look at the different.
