Cherry Angel has a new Cherry Mobile device in his store!
Cherry Angel, that Lucky Chinatown-based retailer usually gets new Cherry Mobile devices and posts it himself before the company has a chance to announce it. That’s the case with the newest Cherry Mobile Device, the octa-core Excalibur. Priced at Php 6,999, the Excalibur has an octa-core processor, 5-inch HD display and Android KitKat right out of the box.

The Excalibur is a good Cosmos One substitute, as the two devices have similar specs although the Cosmos One has a bigger 5.5-inch display. Cherry Angel is claiming that the Excalibur has a 13-megapixel camera, though it says on the box that it’s only 8-megapixels. We’ll find out which is which when Cherry Mobile officially announces the device.
EDIT: According to Cherry Mobile’s official announcement, the Excalibur has Corning Gorilla Glass protection, not Asahi’s Dragontrail Glass.
