There is no doubt that time flies fast. One moment you are watching the clock ticking in slow motion as you sleepily try to pay attention to the boring lecture, and the next moment, you are a grown up swamped with work, responsibilities and chores.

1. It has been 17 years since Alpha Bravo Charlie aired on PTV. Its first episode ran on May, 1998. Gosh!

2. Remember when Geo Channel began its test transmission in black and white? That was 13 years ago! It was the same year when we were first introduced to Amir Liaquat.

3. We were all obsessed with Orkut once upon a time. The number of scraps and fans you had decided if you were cool or not. Orkut was founded in January 2004.

4. Talking of 2004, Facebook has been around for 11 years as well!

5. In 1998, you watched The Powerpuff Girls on Cartoon Network for the very first time.

6. Atif Aslam’s Aadat was everyone’s favourite in 2004. And how can we forget the feud between Atif and Jal?! This was all 11 years ago.

7. Today’s 20-years-olds Pakistanis don’t even know about Ainak Wala Jin. If you do, then you are probably ancient!

8. In 1993, Pizza Hut opened its first outlet in Pakistan.

9. 13 years ago, you guys first ditched your MP3 players and begged your parents to buy you an iPod.

10. It seems like yesterday when the whole country was going crazy over Humsafar. It has already been 3 years!

11. Meera’s first film ‘Kanta’ came out in 1995. Sajal Ali was only  a year old then. Miraculously, Meera is still in her 20s.

12. If Tom and Jerry were real, they would probably be dead now.

13. 14 years ago, we met this wonderful trio!

14. 2030 is as far away as 2000. Yikes.
