Philippine television drama or what we normally call as teleserye in Tagalog term has been widely available ever since. When I was still young, I know what tv is and I would cry when I can't watch my favorite anime shows.
The tv dramas here in the Philippines has evolved into different and unique characteristics which has been a result of the aim of attracting audience of different age and gender lines.
The new highly rated teleserye right now in the Philippines is the romantic comedy television series entitledOn the Wings of Love.
It is a story of two different persons who had ended up with marrying each other to legally stay and continue working in the United States.
The main characters in the story are Leah and Clark. Leah is played by Nadine Lustre. While Clark is played by James Reid.
Let's learn about the stars of the show. First, let's know who is Nadine Lustre.
Nadine Lustre started as the lead vocalist of the all-female group called Pop Girls. She eventually left the group and started singing solo. She has also started with TV5 and GMA Network.
But her break was when she played the role as Eya in the film adaptation of Diary ng Panget together with James Reid as well.
It has been a hit and became a box office hit and on the same year, both of them signed an exclusive contract with ABS CBN.
One of the scenes on the movie, Diary ng Panget. Nadine played as a normal young girl who has a lot of breakouts and pimples and was referred to as ugly.
Here's Nadine as Eya on the movie, Diary ng Panget. It was the movie which she was really famous of.
They then started with the Wansapanataym month long show My App Boyfie together also with James Reid.
The story was about a boy who came out from an application on a tablet which was found by Nadine and whom became a real human with feelings and understanding.
It was one of the Wansapanataym shows which I had also followed.
As the lead vocalist of the previous pop singer group, she has also been busy with her singing career as she also have her own album. Here are some of her music videos:

James Reid on the other hand was originally a talent of ABS CBN. His career started when he joined the PBB Big Winner for the Teen Clash 2010. He entered as one of the 10 teen international housemates.

That's when Clark came into the picture, he was a nephew of Leah's boyfriend's mother. Clark agreed since he also need money to help his family back in the Philippines.
It was a disaster when they were introduced because they had met previously but their meeting were not that good that it made them hate each other so when they were introduced, they don't really like each other that much but Clark still agreed to get married.
