Pakistan is an agricultural country. Its agriculture depends upon fresh water. Rain is the main source of fresh water of this country. It fills our dams with water during summer. We use this water throughout the year. Moreover we use the dam water to produce electricity.
Last Sunday was probably the hottest day of the summer. Suddenly the sky was overcast with dark clouds. Soon it started drizzling. Then in no time then it began to rain cats and dogs. Everything was wet with the rain. Soon the street began to flow like streams. After two or three hours, the rain stopped.
The scene after the rain was very beautiful. The dry leaves turn green. The twigs of trees were swaying in the cool breeze. The dry plains were saturated in rainwater. Life recharged everywhere. Children played wildly everywhere. Everything looks clean and fresh. All felt happy and excited.
