This large well , which was found during the excavation , is 18m x 13m and its depth is 9m .

It is thought to have been made for fire prevention . Over the eastern half of this well , three rows of three pillars each were laid longitudinally and latitudinally and houses were constructed on this base over the well .

The timbers of the foundation remains as they were .
