A VISIT TO ZOO
A zoo is very interesting place for the children.They have love for birds and animals.
Last Sunday,we went to have a visit so Lahore zoo.It is situated on the Saharah-e-Quaid-e-Azam,opposite to wapda house.There are huge models of an elephant and three other wild animals mounted at the main gate of the zoo.There is beautiful water fall near-by.
We got our tickets and entered the zoo.therer were cages of monkey with swing.Children took much intrest in seeing their funny movements.They offered grams and other eatable to the monkeys.We saw the artifical lake where swans,ducks were swimming.We went around the other cages.There were peacocks,parrots,pigeons and sparrows of every color.They belong to the different countries.Their name and other details were written on the tin plates along each cage.

Then we saw the king of forest i.e the Lion and lioness in big.strong and high cages.Children felt afraid to see them.

There was a graceful zebra with black strips on his body.

We saw small colored fish swimming in small tanks of water.This is called “Aquarium”.

We were much amused to have look at elephant with his long trunk and big ears.Children were anxious to have ride on elephant.They enjoyed it very much.

By this time we were tired.We took cold drink in the canteen situated near zoo.We came back with much information about animal life.
