It is not easy being an OFW. Most may people may think (specially Filipinos) that life can be easy if someone in the family can go abroad because they think that a lot of money can be made outside the Philippines. Well, they're wrong. Maybe some of the OFWs' but not all. Actually, my father is also an Overseas Filipino Worker. In fact his salary (plus the overtime) is not enough to pay the bills, my siblings' tuition fees, etc. etc. and even though it is combined with my mother's salary. In addition, to the hardships of an OFW, they also deal with the everyday home sickness and being away to your love ones is not an easy task.
