As mourners mostly lawyers and some journalists gathered in the government-run hospital in Quetta in Pakistan's restive southwestern province of Balochistan, on Monday to accompany the body of Bilal Anwar Kasi, a prominent lawyer and president of Balochistan Bar Association (BA), who was shot and killed in the provincial capital, an explosion occurred which was followed by gunfire that killed at least 93 people and injured over 120. The victims were mostly lawyers who had gathered at the emergency department where Kasi's body was brought for autopsy.  Some unknown men are also reported to have opened fire after the blast. The attackers are yet to be identified but ISIS-Khorasan has claimed responsibility for the attack.
