Garay Ballance (57) and Joe Root (87) were the highest run scorers for the English team. Other batsmen included Moin Ali (4), Alex Hales (31), Eoin Morgan (0), Ravi Bopara (11), Jos Buttler (13), Chris Jordan (31 not out), Stuart Broad (0) and James Tredwell (1 not out).

On the Pakistani side, Yasir Shah bowled a tight 10-over spell at an economy of 4.50, grabbing three crucial wickets.

Sohail Khan also bowled an impressive 9-over spell, taking two wickets. Shahid Afridi, Ehsan Adil and Wahab Riaz took one wicket each.

England captain Eoin Morgan had won the toss and elected to bat first. James Anderson and Stuart Broad, who were rested for England's first fixture against the West Indies, were included in the playing 11 for today's match.

Pakistan has replaced Sarfaraz Ahmed with opener Nasir Jamshed and Mohammad Irfan has been replaced by Ehsan Adil.

Pakistan and England both have won their first warm-up matches against Bangladesh and West Indies respectively as Sohaib Maqsood hit an unbeaten 93 from 90 deliveries chasing a target of 247. Mohammad Irfan had taken five wickets to restrict Bangladesh to a total of 246.

England had bowled out West Indies for 122 in 29.3 overs in its first official warm-up match with Chris Woakes taking five for 19 which led to a comfortable nine-wicket victory against the Caribbean side.
