KUALA LUMPUR: Pakistani cueist Hamza Akbar Thursday outplayed India’s celebrated snookerist Punkaj Advani to win the 31st ACBS Snooker Championship Kuala Lumpur, Samaa reported.

Before crushing Advani by 7-6 in the final, Akbar decimated Malaysian Mohammad Reza 6-2 to book a berth in final of the tournament  on Wednesday.

The 21-year-old is a two-time national champion.
