The Palacio de Bellas Artes construction began in late 1904, was planning to demolish the Teatro de la Ciudad de Mexico and taking French art and various building materials were appreciated in French. The work was suspended due to the riots that occurred in the period of the Mexican Revolution, but was revived in 1931 when the country regained its economic and social stability. The architects in charge were, Javier Domínguez and Claudio Prieto.
The Palace was inaugurated on September 25, 1934 with a gala and a concert in the auditorium still unfinished. Now has many exhibition halls, permanent and temporary, auditoriums where the most world-renowned artists are presented. Its walls are garlanded with different murals by renowned artists, Diego Rivera, David Alfaro Siqueiros, Rufino Tamayo and José Clemente Orozco.
It is one of my favorite places because it has a beautiful view out the artist soul of everyone, inside and outside causes admiration even if not the first time you see it.
