She is Parveen Shakir .
A poetress par excellence who gave the most beautiful and sensitive touch to Urdu poetry, was born on 24 th Novemeber , 1952 in Karachi, Pakistan.
She was quite the formation of two master's degrees in English literature and linguistics. She was a teacher for nine years before she joined the Civil Service and worked in the Customs Department.
Parveen Shakir is one of the female voices who have created a name in a history of Urdu poetry. It expresses deep feminine feelings is a miracle and incomparable poet for generations to come. Parvin in her work seems to have captured the best of Urdu poetry.Her poetry collections are:

Her first book, Khushboo won the Adamjee award. Later she was awarded the pride of performance award, which is a prestigious award given by the Government of Pakistan. Parveen Shakir style and range of expressions and her soul stirring poetry gave ne dimension to Urdu Poetry 20th century. December 26, 1994, on her way to work,
her car collided with a truck, and in the world of modern Urdu poetry lost one of its brightest stars.
