Past Tense....
In past tense we express the actions that are happened in past or previously existed.
Types...
Past tense have four types.
- Past Indefinite tense
- Past Continuous tense
- Past Perfect tense
- Past Perfect Continuous tense
Now I will explain one by one all these types....

Past Indefinite tense
Definition...
This tense express the action happened or completed in past, usually in a very short time ago.

Passive sentence...
Structure...
- Subject + Second form of Verb + Object.
In Past Indefinite tense no helping verb is used.
Second Form of verb is used.
Examples...
- Sara went to school.
In this sentence...
"Sara" is subject.
"Went" is verb (second form of "go").
"School" is object.

Negative sentence...
In negative sentence we use "did not" and use first form of verb.
Structure...
- Subject + did not + First form of Verb + Object.
In Negative Past Indefinite tense we use "Did not" and first form of verb.
Examples...
- Sara did not go to school.
Here we used "Did not" and "go" which is the first form of "went".

Interrogative sentence...
In interrogative sentence we use "did " at the start of sentence and use first form of verb and question mark (?) at the end of sentence.
Structure...
- Did + Subject + First form of Verb + Object?
In Interrogative Past Indefinite tense we use "Did" at the start of sentence and first form of verb and question mark (?) at the end of sentence.
Examples...
- Did Sara go to school?
Here we used "Did" and "go" which is the first form of "went" and question mark (?) at the end of sentence.
