Pate de Fua

Another of my favorite bands is Pate de Fua, who I had the opportunity to see the at CENART, are a band whose style can be defined as a mixture of tarantella, dixieland, musette, tango and jazz. He was born in Mexico City and is composed of musicians from different countries, currently with members of Mexico, Argentina, Palestine and Brazil.

Its name refers to pate de foie gras, was formed on April 18, 2006 in Mexico City. Yayo leaders and Guillermo group had left their homeland due to the crisis of December 2001 in Argentina, and to reach Mexico was where they met other musicians who would.

They have participated in the Vive Latino festival in editions 2009, 2010 and 2012.7 They won the Lunas del Auditorio award in 2010 and 2013 in the category Jazz and Blues, and awards Indie-O Music Awards in 2010, 2011 and 2012.
