Every good citizen is necessarily patriotic. Not only Humans but birds and animals love their nests and place of living. Birds fly all the day here and there but by the end of day they come to their nests chirping and singing which reflect their satisfaction and pleasure. A person may be very happy abroad and even very successful but he cannot forget his homeland.
One loves his soil as well as likes his native language more than any other. Fruits and vegetables of own country, national dress, civilization and traditions, national games, weather, way of living etc all are more liked.
Love for country compels one to try get out of any problem his country when she is suffering from. All the nations do not refuse to sacrifice for their country. Patriotism requires to trying at our best for the development of our country, pay all the taxes, authorities surfing all the assets for the well being country, government servants working with honesty and clean the country from any sort of corruption, fraud and flaws. In short all the citizens should participate in the development and growth of the country.
Once, the Chinese Prime Minister visited Pakistan. Many of the Pakistani requested him talk and share his feelings in English but he refused by saying that China is not unvoiced or dumb showing patriotism. It also requires that we should prefer home made things and accessories if we find them over the imported ones. Hence patriotic nations like Indians, Chinese, Germans, Americans, Japanese, British and Europeans prefer their own products.
History shows us the people full of patriotism have performed and achieved the great things. One example is that of Dr. Boughton, the British. Likewise the people who sacrifice their lives for their homeland, their nations never forget them. Like we have our Nishan e Haider Recipients and all other martyrs from the Tehreek e Azadi (Independence) till date. While those who refuse to sacrifice, history never forgives them. Our national poet, The great philosopher Allam Iqbal said, “Hell will also not accept the deceivers”.
This all discussion concludes that we should not only love our country but also care about the rights of other country and obey the Charter of United Nations. Violation of this thing may result in to the war and a total destruction. Patriotism is a good thing and everyone should be patriotic because it results in the development of the country.
