The PCB's governing board is of the view that the tour would not go ahead if the conditions were not met, according to a report on the ESPNCricinfo website (www.espncricinfo.com).

Bangladesh has backed out twice in the past, in 2012 and 2013, from its commitment to send their cricket team on a tour to Pakistan and the PCB is adamant this time to have its terms and conditions agreed to under a written and binding agreement.

The PCB is yet to assure the BCB of sending the Pakistan team for playing two Tests, three One Day Internationals and a T20 match scheduled between April 10 and May 7 as per the International Cricket Council's Future Tours Programme (FTP).

In April 2012 Bangladesh  it would send its cricket team to Pakistan for a series but  only a few days later citing security concerns.

The attacks also saw Pakistan stripped of its right to co-host last year’s cricket World Cup in 2011.

No test playing nation has visited Pakistan since the 2009 attack. Only Afghanistan (2011) and . Both the minnow teams had played against the Pakistan A team.

The PCB has been forced to organise its home matches at neutral venues, mainly in the United Arab Emirates.
