The Pakistan Cricket Board has presented its demands to the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) for the scheduled tour of the green-shirts, which include 50 per cent revenue sharing and exchange tours of the Under-19 and A teams.
The PCB's governing board is of the view that the tour would not go ahead if the conditions were not met, according to a report on the ESPNCricinfo website (www.espncricinfo.com).
Bangladesh has backed out twice in the past, in 2012 and 2013, from its commitment to send their cricket team on a tour to Pakistan and the PCB is adamant this time to have its terms and conditions agreed to under a written and binding agreement.
The PCB is yet to assure the BCB of sending the Pakistan team for playing two Tests, three One Day Internationals and a T20 match scheduled between April 10 and May 7 as per the International Cricket Council's Future Tours Programme (FTP).
The FTP is no more a central agreement between the ICC and its members. From this year onward, bilateral agreements between member nations and boards can decide individually whether playing each other is commercially viable or not.
In April 2012 Bangladesh had confirmed that it would send its cricket team to Pakistan for a series but backed off from the decision only a few days later citing security concerns.
Following the cancellation of the tour PCB had conveyed to its Bangladesh counterpart that it willnot permit any Pakistani to feature in the 2013 edition of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL).
Bangladesh had once again agreed to send it team to Pakistan and then backed off from the statement later.
Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Shahryar Khan urged Bangladesh in Oct 2014 to send 'any' team to Pakistan seeking to bring back international matches which stood suspended following the deadly attack on Sri Lanka's team bus in 2009.
The attacks also saw Pakistan stripped of its right to co-host last year’s cricket World Cup in 2011.
No test playing nation has visited Pakistan since the 2009 attack. Only Afghanistan (2011) andKenya (2014) have toured Pakistan. Both the minnow teams had played against the Pakistan A team.
