In the 21st century, one of the most critical current issues in the study of organizational behavior is the effects of workforce diversity such as personality on organizational performance. Implication of personality in organization means how a person behaves and reacts to certain situations in organization and what type of personality is suitable for particular job.The desirable personality traits in organization are adaptability, politeness, and ready to face challenges.
The purpose of this study was to examine the implication of personality in organizational behavior.
A descriptive research design taking an interview guide approach was used. The interview was conducted with human resource manager Ayesha Ikram at King Rice Bran Oil International Private Limited. Interview was conducted in one hour from human resource manager. The findings on the personality dimensions and organizational behavior using research as a diagnostic tool show that employees must have adaptive and flexible personality, individually and communication skills as they demand to make more customer in market which can be done by good communication skills and as well as emotional stability.
The study recommends that at King Rice Bran Oil International Private Limited should consider personality tests and some specific standardized mechanism as part of the recruitment and selection process.
