PESHAWAR ATTACK

Posted on at

It was 16 December, 2014 at mid day my friend dropped me a message saying "Did you see the news? Terrorists have attacked a school in Peshawar." Upon turning the television on I was shocked and horrified at the act of brutality being presented there. My eyes couldn't believe what was flashing on the tv screen and the facebook timeline flooded with pictures and videos of the crime scene. Who targets the little buds who haven't bloomed to their fullest, those dreams full of vivid colors and plans of a bright future to make Pakistan a peaceful and secure country to live in. Who knew these dreams would be killed by the same from whom they wanted to protect their very country. We do not have an exact figure of martyrs but it is obvious that the numbers are far more than what is being told, also those who are injured. It was nothing less than a miracle how their lives were saved, the saviors of this terrible incident are the light at the end of tunnel who upon healing the pain and sufferrings will rise and shine and struggle hard to eradicate these animals in disguise from our peaceful homeland. But their are such cruel people on this planet who are actually supporting this incident, of what matter are their hearts made of? Do they not feel any pain? Are they so stone-hearted that their ears refused to hear the cries and feel the pain of families of the deceased. Those parents, siblings, relatives, nobody can ever imagine the pain they went through, the sorrow they have and will always have for the deceased. A person with little humanity in them, not a lot, only a little, will feel for them, stand with them and support them in their sufferring. Human nature amazes me as to what extent have we lost our sentiments, kindness and the sense of being with the sufferers, to help them recover their pain and heal their broken hearts. If only we realise the pain the sufferrings can we learn what the situation has been for them. There is the moment when a person gets shot and is about to die, that very moment their whole life flashes in front of their eyes, their very last thoughts, we can not imagine at all what it has been for the martyrs witnessing death like this and the survivors who thought they have lost the fight of survival but are saved by Allah's miracle. The incident will soon be forgotten by many because the breaking news will stop flashing on their television screens and there will be no or little facebook/twitter posts because our brain is so burdened with our self delusions that we hardly remember what has happened in recent past. Though they are gone but speaking of myself they will never be forgotten, not a moment goes by without me thinking of them. My heart is teared apart with grief! ‪#‎PeshawarAttack‬ ‪#‎TerribleActOfCruelity‬
