3.15pm Some reading material for you as we build up to the start of play: As assistant coach of Peshawar Zalmi in the inaugural PSL, Andy Flower has dipped his toes into T20 franchise waters. Charles Reynolds meets up with him.

Cheema: "Don't know why Karachi are persisting with James Vince.. Undoubtedly he is a very talented batsman but in this part of the world a subcontinent player like Mushfiqur would be a better option than him in my opinion :)"

Amjad Khan: " A Humble request to 'Lala'... Experiment on yourself, Try yourself as an Opener for the next 2-3 matches continuously. I Bet you will be a good Opener in T20 format than many !!! Remember trying it in just 1 match won't show results, have to try in 2-3 matches continuously !!"

Zoe: "It's gonna be Shakib vs Tamim today. Would be better if Mushy got a chance. Good luck both of you even I'm a Karachi supporter."

Azeem: "Both teams should quickly realise, Sharjah pitch is friendly for batting and less than 180 would not be par score."
