PIA Female Air Hostesses Get Threats from Government?
Air hostess of Pakistan International Airline has alleged the government for harassing her. According to the reports of Pakistani media, flight attendant of PIA Safwat Salim has said that the Government of Pakistan is threatening air hostesses and other female employees of PIA.
She said that they have been receiving continuous threats by the police through telephone calls in which they have been asked to immediately get out from the protests and join their duties.
Safwat Salim also told the media that the government is threatening them for ending protest, otherwise their children and husbands will be arrested.
PIA air hostess told that the managers of the airline are continuously calling female staff to immediately join their duties, and asked them to sit in the vans. Safwat Salim said that the police is conducting raids on the homes of PIA employees and harassing their family members.
While telling the situation of harassment and threats to the media, PIA air hostess failed to control her emotions and cried. PIA air hostess also asked the government to tell their crime, because this treatment is applied on robbers and thieves.
Pakistani media also reported that Safwat Salim has also resigned from Air League after this situation.
