Pineapple Pork Steak Recipe

Ingredients

4 pc (300 grams) Sliced Pork Chops  
1 pc (large) White Onion (sliced into rings)
¼ cup Cooking Oil  
8 cloves Garlic (crushed, for marinade)
2 ½ tbsp Soy Sauce (for marinade)
1 ½ tbsp Calamansi Juice (for marinade)
⅛ tsp Black Pepper (for marinade)
  Pineapple Syrup (for marinade)
1 pouch (115 grams) Del Monte
Pineapple Tidbits
(drained, reserve syrup)

Cooking Procedure:

 
  1. Marinate pork overnight in the refrigerator. Drain and reserve marinade.

  2. Heat pan with oil, then fry pork slices until just cooked. Set aside. Retain 2 tbsp oil in pan.

  3. In the same pan, Sauté onion. Add remaining marinade. Cover and Simmer for 3-5 minutes.

  4. Add fried pork chops and DEL MONTE Pineapple Tidbits. Allow to Simmer. Serve.

    Makes 4 servings
