Dragon Fruit
The pitaya or dragon fruit has beautiful flowers and and intense shape and color. It is usually deep red in color, the skin has a thin rind which is usually covered in scales. The fruit is made up of red or white, which is very tasty and sweet.
Dragon fruit is low in cholesterol and is packed with vitamin C. It also serves as an antioxidant. It has a low amount of fat and has lots of dietary fiber.
I normally like to eat just the fruit, but when i tried the dragon fruit shake I fell in love with it. I tried to mix dragon fruit and mango and made a delicious healthy fruit shake.
