Pk is the only movie who earns more than 7 billion Indian rupees from all over the world. Story of the movie
In Rajhistan India Aamir Khan as an alien lands on earth without clothes on a special research mission. When he lands on earth a man standing there stole his spaceship remote. He ran behind the thief to get his spaceship remote back but he got the thief’s cassette recorder and fails to get his remote. Without remote he was unable to call his spaceship and can’t go back. On the same day Anushka Sharma (as Jaggu) meets Pakistani guy Sarfraz (Sushant Singh Rajput) and falls in love with him. Sarfraz was a Pakistani muslim guy and Jaggu was Indian (Hindu) so Jaggu’s father object’s to their relationship. Her father talks to Tapasvi (saurabh Shukla) a godman who made a prediction and said that Sarfraz will betray Jaggu. To prove Tapasvi wrong Jaggu proposes to Sarfraz. And he agreed. On wedding day Jaggu receives a letter from Sarfraz. Sarfraz wrote that I can’t marry you because of our culture is different.

With broken heart Jaggu returns to India and join as a news reporter. While sitting somewhere she meets alien who was distributing leaflets about “missing” God. She makes his recording while he was trying to get money from collection box and earns his trust. The alien tells her that he comes from another planet for research on earth. The people of his planet don’t about dressing, spoken communication or written communication, god etc. They exchange their ideas by holding each other hands. As more time they hold hands of each other more information they got like language, activities etc. When he landed on the earth he saw people wearing different type of clothes. He stole some clothes from a couple having sex in dancing cars and also stole some money.

Once he accidentally hit by Bhairon Singh’s (Sunjay Dutt) truck. Bhairon Singh took him to his house. Alien was unable to communicate with people there so he holds people’s hands to get language information. Bhairon Singh thinks that he wants sex with some girls so he took him to brothel. Alien holds the hand of prostitute for about six hours and absorbs all the language information.

Then he talked to Bhairon Singh and tells him all the story that how his remote was stolen. Bhairon Singh suggest him that thief should be in Delhi so the alien travel to Delhi in search of his remote. Due to his weird activities people thinks that he is drunk and called him PK. The meaning of Pk in hindi is “drunky”. When everyone called him PK he adopted this name. Everyone told him that no one could help him but only God. PK seriously examines every religion of India to find God but he got no result. After some days he found Tapasvi God man and saw his remote their. Tapasvi was saying to people that this is the gift from God. PK said that this remote is mine but Tapasvi refused his claim. PK told this story to Jaggu and she promises to help him and recover his remote from Tapasvi so he can go back to his planet.

PK thinks that Tapasvi and some other godmen are dialing a wrong number to contact with god that’s why they are giving wrong advises to the people. By getting this idea Jaggu makes a plan to expose fake godmen. She request people to send fake god men’s video to her news channel and she will expose them. She got too much response from the people. Tapasvi was worried and depressed about this campaign. On the other side Bhairon Singh found the thief who stole PK’s remote. He contacts with PK and inform him that they are coming to Delhi. While they landed to Delhi, both died in a terrorist attack.

Tapasvi decided to debate with PK on Jaggu’s channel. While in the debate PK says that “God is only one who created us all” and we should belive only one God. All other fake god’s are created by people. But Tapasvi disagree with him, he says that I have a direct connection with god and the proof is that I told Jaggu’s father that Sarfraz will not marry her and you all know that he left Jaggu. PK understands that the letter received by Jaggu wasn’t written by Sarfraz. PK ask Jaggu how do you know that letter was written by Sarfraz? Just call him and ask for verification. Jaggu call him but his mobile was off. Then she contact Pakistan embassy where Sarfraz do job part time. The embassy staff told her that he still loves you. He calls here daily and ask about you. He is currently in Lahore, they transfer call to Sarfraz and they communicate once again. Sarfraz told her that I didn’t write any letter for you. In this way Tapasvi was proved wrong and people there forced him to return his remote.

Jaggu help him too much so he was fallen in love with her but didn’t tell her because she loves Sarfraz. When he was going back to his planet he filled up two briefcases of audio tapes recorded by the voices of people on the earth. Actually all the voices are of Jaggu. In this way PK left home and after some month’s Jaggu wrote a book about him, everyone appreciates her.

Movie release information
PK movie was released on 19 December, 2014 in all over India. It was the 200th Indian movie release of 2014. Later on it was released on more than 800 screens world wide. It was also tax free in some local cities. It was the widest movie release worldwide includes UK, Pakistan, Australia, China etc. It was released in china on 22 May, 2015.

Movie critics
Some people also criticize on this movie from its start. When its first poster was released Aamir khan as PK was almost naked, having only tape recorder in front of private parts. After that they made changes in this poster and cover up it with some clothes. After the release of movie some people also criticize its story about different religions. Some people said that it’s an anti-religion movie in the name of religion and some said that it’s an anti-Hindu movie. But after all critics the film makers said that if this movie is against religion or Hinduism then why it is attracting too much people and making highest earning not only from India but also from all over the world. Aamir khan also said that this movie is not against any particular religion. He also describes that after watching this movie when I come out of the theater most of my friends looked interested in following this trend from the film.
