- Inspect and remove all nails, staples and wires from wood before continuing.
- At the time of assembling, cleaning, sharpening or removing the chain saw blade, ensure that the grinder's power source is unplugged. Grinder's switch must be off before plugging in the power.
- Always ensure the Safety Guard is properly installed and secure before use. Recommended adjustment angles for guard are between 25° and 45°. Never attempt to remove the Safety Guard in any circumstance.
- When intoxicated or under the influence of drugs or medications, never try to operate any type of power tools even if you think you are fit and sober enough. Operate power tools only when all of your senses are fully functional and you are perfectly clear headed.
- Ensure that the object you are working on is completely static and is secured with the help of a vise or a clamp. Never use hands, feet or other body parts to grip the object; it can lead to very serious injuries.
- Operate the grinder below your chest height.
- Ensure that you are using both hands for grinder operation. Also maintain your balance, stay calm and hold your ground at all times.
- Before starting operation, get rid of nails, staples, wires and all other obstacles from lumber.
- After switching off the grinder, wait until it has stopped completely before putting it down. Otherwise, it can go out of control due to a moving blade causing serious injuries or damage. Never try to force stop the grinder.
- Maintain and clean the grinder regularly removing dust and wood shavings. This will provide additional safety along with a longer reliable life of tool.
- Always keep a safe distance from others during operation.
- During operation, keep your face, hands and other parts of your body away from the moving blades. Never try to reach beneath the operational area when blades are in motion.
- Always read the instruction manuals provided by the manufacturers of other complementary tools and accessories.
