Prem Ratan Dhan Payo has smashed all first week records in Rajasthan with the highest first week (7 days) total ever. It beat the previous best of Kick by around 50 lakhs nett. The totals of Kick and Dhoom 3 were set before the increase of Entertainment Tax last year. The tax increased to 30% from 0%.

 The film also beat the figures of Bajrangi Bhaijaan in Rajasthan which grossed around 11 crore nett in week one. Rajasthan has emerged the best circuit for Prem Ratan Dhan Payo alongside Gujarat / Saurashtra. The top all time figures in Rajasthan are 18.75 crore nett of PK and 18.50 crore nett of Bajrangi Bhaijaan.
