ISLAMABAD- Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif today received the Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Thani in Islamabad.

All Services Chiefs and Chairman Joint Chief of Staff Committee along with Adviser to Prime Minister Sartaj Aziz also welcomed the Qatari prince. According to our sources, Senator Ishaq Dar, Khawaja Mohammad Asif, Senator Pervaiz Rashid, Khurram Dastgir and Shahid Khaqan Abbasi were also present at the airport. A 21-gun salute was presented to the guest.

The Emir of Qatar is visiting Pakistan along with a high-level delegation including cabinet ministers and senior government officials on the invitation of PM Nawaz Sharif.

The official visit is expected to provide a fresh force to bilateral relations.
