With just five cottages on an isolated 19km, pink sand beach, North Beach prides itself on what it doesn’t have rather than what it does have. That’s no kids’ clubs, no iPhone reception, no internet, no clubs and no interruptions. What it does have is a manager – Reuben – who makes superb rum punches, and a donkey as an assistant manager. Oh yes, and the only way in is by boat. It doesn’t get more chilled and away from it all than this.
