I'm reading Radix by A.A. Attanasio and enjoying it so far. I've done a thorough perusing of the original list of David Pringle's Best 100 Science Fiction Novels as well as the later list of post-1985 novels. Although Radix isn't on either list, it is mentioned in the newer book.
