When you raise your children it is OK to do everything for them when they are babies and toddlers. But when they start school. You should show them how to do things. You can even help them to do things. But do not do everything for them.

 If you start doing everything for them when they are young. Than they will have no confidence in themselves. They will not even know how to do anything because you did everything for them.

 So never start doing everything for your children when they start school. Help them and show them how. Once they know how to do it. Than let them do it on their own. Let them build up confidence in themselves.

 That way your children will know they can figure out how to do things and they will do those things on their own. Because they will have the confidence to try and they will have success. All because you as their parent showed them and helped them. But you did not do it all for them. You let them do it themselves.
