Ranthambore
Ranthambore Fort is situated near Sawai Madhopur. It is included in the Wolrd Heritage Sites. Raja Sajraj Veer Singh Nagil was thwe first ruler of Ranthambore. Community of Nagil Jats were the founder of this Fortress. Inside the fort there are three temples of Hindu Gods Shiva , Ganesha and Ramlalaji. These temples were created in 12th Century. The nearby Jungle is now turned into Ranthambore Tiger National Park. Government of India declared it tiger reserved place in the 1973. Ranthambore wildlife sanctuary is the best places in India to see these majestic predators in the jungle. Tigers are easily spotted during the daytime. A good time to visit Ranthambore National Park from November to May the nature forests makes sightings common. Other than tigers you can also see Sambar Deer, Indian Wild Boar, Spotted Deers and Hulman. There are 61 tigers in this National Tiger Reserve Sanctuary. The park is situated at the edge of a plateau and is bounded by the Banas River in the North and the Chambal River in south. There are some lakes in the park. It is name for the historical Ranthambhore fortress, which lies within the national park. The park is of 392 km² in the area.
