Before sharing experiance on Newly made Pedestrain street in our city , I have to tell you about a Government Department named RCB (Rawalpindi Cantonament Board).
RCB
A cantonment is a basically refers to military quarters and its true meaning is a corner or a district.In whole Asia cantonment actually describes all time permanent military stations may be bases.
RCB is doing mandatory functions related to Development ,Civil and also Revenue collection from the district.Their development functions including the following construction plus maintenance of roads , Hospitals and water supply projects.Rawalpindi Cantonament board governed under THE CANTONMENTS ACT, 1924.

PEDESTRIAN STREET
There are very few public entertainment places in our city.This time RCB took necessary steps to add beauties to the city in the shape of Pedestrain street.Pedestrain street also named as food street.This street made by RCB on Bank road saddar near Cantonment hospital.It is basically at the middle of the city or you can say heart of the city.This is a gift from RCB on the busy bank road area of our city.
Majority of pictures belongs to my property taken by own camera.I visited this street in day time.
Inauguration
RCB pedestrian street inaugurated by Lt Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa on 5th june.
Man holding scissor in his hand is Lt Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa and on his left side Mlik Iftikar Ahmed MPA member of provincial assembly .
This street give us opportunities to eat delicious foods , drinks and much more while shopping because this street covered with big shopping Malls.
Parking Area
Parking area is also there because with in street no vehicles are allowed.
Main Street Area
Main area made up of hard tiles.Decorations are only for one day.
Gates
Pedestrian street i opened eveyday from 6PM to late night and durinf this time no vehicles are allowed on that street as the name indicates only pedestrain street.It has two gates one is entry gate and the second one exit gates.

After 6PM almost all the street is showing the sitting area but at day this area limited.
Musical Corner
Musical corner is also there where musicians entertaining the public.
History corner
In history corner pictures are displayed of buildings of saddar at different years or you can also say it that history of saddar.
Mini shopes
Mini shopes also there to serve public with delicious culture foods and much more.Closed at day time.
Renovated Buildings
Buildings along with pedestrian street are also renovated.
