Real Madrid Season 2016/17
Hello guys, this is my first Blog in Bitlanders. As I am a big football fan and a true die hard madrista so i am starting my blog journey with real madrid. So in this blog i am going to discuss about this season of real madrid 2016/17.
The main factor in this season for spanish capital's club was the new real madrid boss "Zinedine Zidane a.k.a Zizou". If any of you have been watching laliga atleast for the last decade then you should know that barcelona has dominated spanish league, real madrid was won last laliga back in 2012 under the portuguese manager "Jose mourinho". Under Carlo ancelotti madrid has won their long awaited "Champion's League" but he could not manage madrid to triumph laliga. Now this time laliga was the main priority for real madrid as zidane has been managing madrid so well so this was his real task to win the league.

Before Zidane took over as a madrid boss, it was Rafa Benitez who was the boss of madrid and he was came after Carlo ancelotti. Benitez was unabled to manage madrid and on his time madrid lost a shocking 0-4 from their fierce rival Barcelona and that was a high tense situation for madrid to find a manager that can handle madrid, so on that time zidane took a step to take over as a madrid boss in the mid of the season in january 2016. And in the end of that season madrid has won their record 11th European championship. After being victorious in europe many pundits and fans have doubted his ability and been called Fortunate. In the beginning of this season zidane side have won their second trophy and won UEFA Super Cup and got a boost of the league.

At the start of this season league madrid's performance was so good and their fighting spirit was like never before. As they say that it's in nature to fight till the last minute but no body has ever witnessed that kind of fighting spirit that real madrid has produced in this season. There are several occassions when took an astonishing come back in the death minutes of the match.
The captain of the Zidane's side Sergio Ramos has been so crucial with his famous last minutes headers, madrid had managed to gain 9 vital points just by captain himself with his death minutes goals. not only the captain but this whole team combined team work made their team so good. With they such aptitude madrid scored their late equalizer and draw the elclassico at camp nou and left everyone shocked and that was a defining moment for zidane and warned their rivals Barcelona that this time it is not easy to win the league against zidane's side.
Elclassicos are always been decisive matches for the league and when the last elclassico was played on their home stadium Santiago Bernabeau, real madrid as an edge because of their fine form throughout this season but in the last minute Messi scored the decisive goal and beat madrid by 2-3 had made madrid under pressure as these two both side were standing on the points total but real madrid had a slight edge as they have a game in hand. To win the league madrid now have to win every match in order to clinch the title. But zidane's rotation was the key of his strategy and he was the only manager this season who managed 20 players played over 1000mins. And his one of his key strategies was to rest ronaldo as much as possible to make ronaldo fit to his top level and this strategy worked well for him and ronaldo has managed to score 13 goals in his last 9 games and made madrid able to clinch the title.

UEFA Champions League:
Despite of their fine form in league madrid also managed to deliver in Europe as well. Zidane's Side in now in the final of champions league back to back and could be the first side to successfully defend their title in europe in the modern era.
Real madrid has beaten Napoli and broke their unbeaten streak in the last 16 tie. And then in quarter finals they faced the mighty german side "Bayern Munich" and the german side was considered as the favourites to qualify for the semi finals but real madrid outclassed the german sides and Cristiano Ronaldo has managed to scored the jaw dropping 5 goals in both ties. In semi finals Real madrid managed to beat their city rivals Atletico Madrid by 4-2 aggregate and now they are going to face the italian giants Juventus in final at cardiff on June 3rd. Juventus have also won their league and have been producing so well, their defense is being considered as the best defense in europe and it is expecting to be the nail biting contest.
Juventus won the champions league last time back in 1996, so they are definitely going to produce their best to bring european glory to italy after 22years, while on the other hand zidane's side to looking to secure back to back european glory and made history that no one has ever done.

Juventus have managed to beat the mighty Barcelona in the quarter finals by 3-0 aggregate and defeated FC Monaco in the semi finals. This is going to be the unmoveable object(Juventus) vs the unstoppable force(Real Madrid) in Cardiff.
