Road accidents are very common now a days in Pakistan. Pakistani reads are more dangerous today than ever before. Everyday there are many fatal accidents take place.Many more people die om Pakistani roads than any other country of world.Traveling on roads is became hazardous.

It is equally dangerous on highways, reads, in plains,valleys,hills,towns and cities. The number of vehicles is increasing so fast that the existing network of roads can hardly cope with it.

Poor condition of roads....

In Pakistan mostly roads are in very poor condition.They are not maintained properly. In rainy season their condition became worst.This is because of using poor quality material in the construction of roads.That's why quick erosion of roads takes place.The roads are full of pot holes and rough patches.There are no enough bridges. That's why is rainy season roads converted in to "nallas" and "lakes".

Bad roads cause a lot of damage of vehicle engines. The owner do not pay proper intention in maintenance of motor vehicle .so there are often mechanical failure and causes accidents.

Lack of driving experience....

Drivers are neither well trained nor experienced and yet they drive the busses , trucks, and cars etc.They manage to get driving licences by bribing the transport authorities.Their lack of driving experience and skills, heavy traffic and poor roads causes accidents.

Driving for long hours....

Another major reason of road accidents is that drivers continue driving for long hours without resting. In this physical and mental condition can hardly be expected to stick to save driving.

Drivers are drug addictive....

Many of drivers are drug addictive . They drunk while they drunk.The drivers in intoxicated state results in poor perception and error of judgement and then there are accidents.

Ignoring traffic rules....

The main cause of accidents in Pakistan is that people do not follow traffic rules. Drivers often do not take care of red light and get hit. Other reasons are over speeding, over taking other vehicles recklessly, rush and negligent driving.Unmannaged railway lines are also the cause of road accidents.

Corruption....

The corruption among concerned authorities and apathy of the administration make the confusion more confounded. Government should pay intention in this regards.

Government should built new roads and construct bridges and flyover. It is the major duty of government to protect it's people.
