Religions of the World
Hello Friends, I Hope you are doing fine. Today I am here with my another blog with the title of "Religions of the World". In this blog, I shall highlight different religions of the world that are being followed in the world. Friends, there are about 7 Billion people on earth and more than one third of the whole population, follows one or the other religion. There are many people who do not follow any religion but the religious people are much more than atheists. Let's discuss some popular religions of the world that we see around us in the world.

1. Islam
Friends, there are more than 1 Billion people on earth who practice Islam as their religion. People practicing Islam are of vast ranges and races. We see that people from all nationalities and cultures across the world follow Islam. Islam is one of the fastest growing religion of the world. Although, Islam is also victimized more than other religions, but still Islam is growing at a rapid speed more than any other religion. Muslims believe in One God which is known as Allah. All the creatures and people including the creatures which are not visible through naked eyes are created by Allah. Angel Gabriel brought revelations from Allah to the prophets and were passed on to mankind. There is a belief of the Day of Judgement and all individuals will be held accountable for their actions on earth. Muslims believe in many prophets such as Adam, Noah, Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Job, Moses, Aaron, David, Solomon, Elias, Jonah, John the Baptist and Jesus. The last prophet Muhammad and his religion has more importance than all other prophets.

2. Christianity
The Christianity is one of the most popular religion in the world. There are more Christians in the world more than any other religion followers. There are estimated to be more than 2.5 Billion people on earth that follow Christianity. Vatican City has more importance than any other place on earth because all religious personalities and places are found in Vatican City. It is believed that Christianity grew out of Judaism or Christianity is the product of Judaism. There are 33% total population of the world that follow Christianity. In their belief, Christians believe that Jesus is the Son of God and he is the savior of humanity. It is also believed by the Christians that Jesus coming was the Messiah sent by God and was prophesied. All the European countries and America as well as South America are followers of Christianity. Majority of the people living in those countries follow Christianity.

3. Judaism
There are more than 18 Million people on earth who follow Judaism. They are widely known as Jews or Jewish people. They are found all over the world but their most common place is Israel as that is their capital country. Judaism is one of the most ancient and old religion which is also monotheistic. The religion of Judaism is also known as Abrahamic religion and its book is Torah which is known as the foundation of this religion. Jewish people. Most of the Bible that is followed by Christian is known to be part of The Torah because larger part has been taken from that book. Judaism is also known to be the tenth largest religion in the world.

4. Buddhism
There are estimated to be more than 500 million people who follow Buddhism on earth. Most of the Buddhist are found in eastern part of Asia like Thailand and adjoining areas. Buddhism is followed by more than 7% of the whole population on earth. Buddhists are called as dharmic religion and this religion encompasses a lot of mixed traditions and beliefs. The Buddhism also follwos spiritual practices and those are mainly based on original teachings forwarded by Buddha. Buddhism started in Ancient India and the time frame of 4th to 6th centuries re known to be the years in which Buddhism started on earth. Now there are many branches of Buddhism now and they are known as scholars. : Buddhism follow and practice traditions such as overcoming suffering and the cycle of death & rebirth, either by the attainment of Nirvana or through the path of Buddhahood.
