When I was young with the eyes ov a child, my grandfather would each give us dollars.
I'd come back to thier home, smiling and happy with what it got me.
When I was kid with growing intellect, I thought i had one uncle who was the best.
He would offer me unknown gestures, but now I know that was some adult sh*t.
When I came ov age for a young man, I lost my dollar that I got from superman.
When I got home, we sort ov ran away, but i like to think i saw him again.
When I was responsible enough to learn the land
That my grandfather tilled with tool and bare hand
I was afraid ov the burden, the work and that which would make a man
But everytime i got there, he was there, I felt like a kid again
When the winter came, I thought it was like the others before the same
Not strong enough, not enough to worry about
But in the middle ov the day under the suns ray
Our Superman took flight again
I remember Superman
He was an old wise man
I remember his Super powers
Strong enough to make you wonder
I remember his laughter
The strength in his smile
Made you wonder
p*ss there any men any more like this???
I believe in Superman
Cos He believes in me
Although I may never become strong as them physically
The Will they gave and trusted to me will never accept defeat...
Remember Superman
