Hello!
I hope you are in good health. The last couple of my blogs were of the book review of how to win friends and influence people. In this blog, I'm going to discuss the review of the book 177 Mental Toughness Secrets of the World Class: The Thought Processes, Habits, and Philosophies of the Great Ones. Well, I cannot discuss every one of them briefly in one blog, but I'm going to divide them in a couple of blogs and discuss with you briefly. Steve Siebold, who is the author of this book, is one of the greatest mental toughness coaches in the world. For years the author has met world-class business-mans, athletes, and people from different careers and he has discovered these mental toughness secrets which have also helped me a lot in my career.

Secret 57: Champions know why they are fighting

Average people who are not committed to any goal, when pain and adversity kicks in they start to give up. The reason behind is not their fears, it is because they are not even inspired by their goals, which means their emotions don't motivate them to push on a goal. While champions enough exactly what they want and why they want it, that is why, whenever pain and adversity comes and knock champions, champions minds start to ask them why they need to suffer? and they can easily answer that question and they don't need to give in to their minds will.
Secret 58: Champions know very good is bad

Champions believe very good is the enemy of the greatest. Champions know that the only thing that they could aim for is the greatest. While average people live in an illusion that very good is great while it is not. So average people only aim for that and end up in the same place. That is why average people have no match with champions because it is the mismatch from the beginning.
Secret 59: The world-class embrace free enterprise

As champions know that everything they do is the matter of the choice they made tomorrow. They are not the victim of the society like average people, because they know that they have a choice, to take the job they hate, or to take a job they would love to do. While average people, living in an illusion believing they are trapped in a dead end job, that is the reason why their productivity is low. While champions work like that they are working for their own company. That is the reason why champions are the best employees in the world.
Secret 60: Champions believe in global citizenship

One of the great traits of champions is that they believe in global citizenship. They don't care in which country they live in, they not only contribute in their own country, but also in other countries that is why champion are the most influential people alive on the earth.
Secret 61: The great ones don't give back, they just give

Another trait of the great ones is that they don't give because they get something or want something from other people. Champions don't play the game of manipulation, to control people by giving gifts and indirectly saying that you owe me one, like average people. They just give just because they want to give. The reason behind that champions operate from love and abundance, that is why they don't care how much they give, they know that they would get even later on.
Secret 62: The world-class is obsessed with their goals

Both of them, champions and average people set their goal on new year eve, while average people tend to forget their goal, the champion doesn't forget their goals, they complete the goals they have set and then start to make new goals to achieve and hold nothing back in achieving the goals they want. Average people could turn into the champion if they become committed to goals they set to achieve, which is something average people don't do.
Secret 63: The great ones believe they cannot fail, they only learn and grow

Champions have a belief that no matter what they do they cannot fail, they only learn and grow. While average people believe that learning and growing end with graduation, champions think opposite of it. That is the same thing that makes a champion most dangerous performer in any field of work. Average people would try to do the thing and try their best to avoid failure. Champions embrace failure, they ditch their fear with this belief and aim for their goal with full speed and don't stop until they get that.
Secret 64: Champions are world-class communicators

Champions know how to deal with people, champions know that whenever they are dealing with someone they are not dealing with the creature of logic but instead they are dealing with the creature of emotion. While average people try to influence people with logic, champions don't do the same. The ability to deal with people is one of the reasons for their tremendous success.
Secret 65: Champions are a product of their habits

Average people are trying desperately to break their negative habit they have developed, like smoking, overeating and not exercising. Champions know that habit is the only thing that they can do daily, without forcing them. Champions develop world-class habits, which make them perform at a higher level.
