Rotherham could confirm their Sky Bet Championship safety by overcoming Reading at the New York Stadium on Tuesday night.
Rotherham United have been dragged back into a relegation dogfight having had three points deducted for fielding an ineligible player. The Millers were not expected to stay in the division this year but having managed to battle hard all season, they'll be devastated to see those three points taken off them at this late stage.
Steve Evans' men even dropped into the bottom three at one stage this weekend as Millwall led Derby County 3-1 and the Yorkshire outfit were one goal down at home to Norwich. In the end, both teams drew, which means that a win in this game at odds of 6/5 with Betfred, will be enough to confirm Rotherham's safety.
Steve Clarke is probably looking forward to this season coming to an end. Having taken over from Nigel Adkins at Reading earlier in the season, Clarke has struggled to gather any momentum with the current squad and he'll be anticipating the summer, so he can put his own stamp on the team during pre-season.
The Royals' campaign will be remembered for an FA Cup semi-final appearance, although that trip to Wembley ended in heartbreak as an error from goalkeeper Adam Federici in extra-time allowed Arsenal to earn a route to the final. A Reading win in this game is priced at 14/5 with Stan James, who also have the draw at 5/2.

With nothing riding on this game for the visitors, we can't see them exerting too much effort. Some players will be hoping to force their way into the management's plans for next term, but for the majority, these games are nothing but a hindrance as the long summer break awaits with just a few days of the campaign remaining.
Rotherham on the other hand will be desperate for a win. A packed-out New York Stadium will be full of supporters that will be hoping to wrap up safety so that they can head to fellow Yorkshire outfit Leeds United on the last game with the comfort of knowing they'll remain in the second tier. So expect the home team to grind out a win in this game. We're going for 1-0 at 13/2 with Ladbrokes.
Either way, don't expect many goals in this game. The nerves for the Millers are likely to play a part and the Royals, with little to play for, will perhaps lack some energy and inventiveness in the attacking areas, so even if it isn't the home team that grinds out a victory, the game should be a low scoring one regardless.
Both of these teams have scored 44 goals in 44 matches so far this season, with both teams struggling to get the best out of their attacking players. Simon Cox is Reading's top scorer with just eight, and no Rotherham player has managed to score more than eight either, with Matt Derbyshire leading the way. Under 2.5 goals is 5/6 with Boylesports.
This game will be a very intriguing one. Millwall and Wigan fans will have a keen interest as anything other than a Rotherham win will keep their chances of Championship survival alive going into the final games of the season on Saturday, but we're expecting the Millers to get the job done in this Tuesday night clash against Reading
